Early College Knowledge

Available from December 1st of Sophomore Year
Start your college planning journey early with our introductory package, which includes valuable parent workshops on financial aid and affordability (a $150 value).
Package Includes:
3 meetings (4.5 hour cap), completed by June 15th of sophomore year
College Knowledge student session
Personalized review of the College Options Admissions Overview family session
Development of sophomore and junior year action plans
Academic record review and goal setting
Course selection and standardized test planning recommendations
Extracurricular and summer activity guidance
Unlimited email support through June 15th of sophomore year
Junior and Senior Years
Comprehensive
College Planning
$6,000 - $7,500 (depending on support level)
Available May 1st of Sophomore Year – May 1st of Junior Year
Our most thorough package includes approximately 20 meetings over 25 hours, with essay support for 8 or 12 applications. You'll receive consultant research time and unlimited email access throughout the entire process.

Access of the knowledge components of our comprehensive consulting process delivered in a condensed 10-hour timeline. This package typically includes 6-7 meetings with the option to add hourly application and essay support based on availability. While meeting time is capped at 10 hours, you'll receive unlimited email support through May 15th of senior year.

1. Kick-off
• Student meeting to get acquainted.

• Family meeting introduction to the college admissions landscape.

2. Assessment & Exploration
Review of student’s:
• Transcript
• Test planning
• Summer/extra-curricular planning
• Find My Spark assessment results.
We will also discuss strategies around working within your college budget. Optional add-on career/major exploration.

3. College Criteria
• Get out and see a variety of college settings, sizes, and models.
• Parent questionnaire and student exercises help build college criteria priorities.

4. List Development & Refinement
• Delivery of initial list of 15 - 25 schools will include a family meeting overview of research best-practices.
• On-going student discussions will refine the balance of your college list.

5. Pre-Application Work
During the spring and summer after Junior year is the time to:
• Polish a resume• Plan college visits
• Continue deeper research of colleges
• Look ahead to the application platforms and summer essay work.

6. Application & Essay Support
• The College Options team will support up to 12 applications and their essays.
• We will help you to manage the details and deadlines to submit your applications on time, with confidence.

• We support our students through deferral and wait list decisions
• We will also help you compare the academic and financial choices of your final acceptances.
